BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- On October 2^nd, the GSC named Maddie Gray GSC Golfer of the Week. This award encompasses performances from September 25-30.

This is Gray's first GSC weekly award for her collegiate career. This honor follows her 23^rd place finish at the Lady Bulldog Desert Classic in Palm Desert Calif. She shot 239 (+23) and earned five birdies. This Classic was Gray's second career event.

Gray is a dual athlete here at Union, participating in both Women's Golf and Women's Basketball. She continues to make an early impact on the course while balancing her role on the hardwood for the Lady Bulldogs.

Up next for the women's golf team will be their final event of the fall. Union travels to St. Simon Island, Georgia, October 6-7 for the St. Simons Intercollegiate.
