Women’s golf opens GSC Championship

JACKSON, Tenn. – Union women's golf completed first-round play in the GSC Championship on Monday with a score of 332 (+44) at the par-72 Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Georgia.

Senior Aubrie Cagle, tied for 19th, leads Union through 18 holes with a score of 79.

Camille Burnette (83), Olivia Carroll (84), Brooklyn Verdugo (86), and Cecily Berry (87) rounded out the Lady Bulldog five on day one.

West Florida leads the nine-school field with a score of 297.

The second of three rounds will begin for Union on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
