ACKSON, Tenn. - On Feb. 23, the Union University softball team played game one of three against Delta State University, winning 5-1. The Lady Bulldogs are now 10-4 overall (3-1 GSC), and the Statesmen are 2-10 overall (0-1 GSC).
Delta State scored one in the top of the first after Raegan Stafford tripled to lead off the game. However, that was all the Statesmen would get as Union starter

The Lady Bulldogs' offense combined for five runs on 11 hits with four players collecting multiple hits, including
Morgan Jennings,
Macey Neal, and
Sarah Kate Thompson each going 2-3 and
Mackenzi David going 3-4. Five Lady Bulldogs had an RBI a piece:
Courtney Marler,
Zoey Neal,
Mallory Hildebrand,
Macey Neal, and Jennings.Â
