JACKSON, Tenn. - Irene Arias, Lucia Garcia, and Lucia Revuelto of Union University women's soccer have been named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-South Region Second Team.

Arias, a 5-foot-5 sophomore defender from Barruelo de Santullan, Spain, was named Second Team All-GSC, D2CCA Second Team All-Region, and TSWA Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 29. She played in 16 of Union's 18 games this season and started 15. She accumulated 1,214 minutes of playing time, while scoring three goals, one of which was a game winner, and collecting four shots on goal.

Garcia, a 5-foot-4 junior midfielder from Asturias, Spain, was selected to the GSC All-Tournament Team. She played in 15 games this season and started seven, competing in 906 minutes. She scored one goal, a game winner in the final seconds against Montevallo on Oct. 5. She also had two shots on goal.

Revuelto, a 5-foot-3 sophomore forward from Madrid, Spain, was named Second Team All-GSC and GSC All-Tournament. She played in 16 games this season, starting 15 and accumulating 1,044 minutes. She scored six goals, including two game-winners, and collected seven assists. She also had 18 shots on goal and 19 points. Revuelto led Union in points and assists and was second in goals and shots on goal. She tied for first in shots and game-winning goals.
