JACKSON, Tenn.—On Sep. 7
th, the Union women's soccer team lost to Ouachita Baptist University 5-1.
Ouachita got all five of their goals before Union scored any, kicking one in the 12
th minute, the 48
th minute, the 56
th minute, the 64
th minute, and the 72
nd minute.
Madison Woolridge scored the lone goal by the Lady Bulldogs in the 86
th minute with an assist by
Victoria Seymour.
Union led in saves 12-2 and in corner kicks 8-5, while Ouachita led in shots 28-11 and in fouls 7-5.
With three shots in the match, Woolridge was the only Lady Bulldog to have more than one. All three of her shots were on goal.
Rylee Iorio played 45 minutes in goal with six saves.
Eva Isom played over 11 minutes in goal, recording one save, and
Kirsten LaVallee played over 33 minutes in goal with five saves.
Up next, the Lady Bulldogs have a home matchup against Harding University on Sep. 9
th at 2:00 p.m.
