JACKSON, Tenn. - On Nov. 11, the Union University men's basketball team beat Lane College 63-59 in their final game of the South Region Crossover Classic, which took place in Rome, Ga. With the win, Union's record improves to 2-0 overall, and Lane's record falls to 1-1 overall.
Jeremiah Littlepage led the Bulldogs with 16 points and seven rebounds. Union led 25-21 at halftime and added 38 points in the second half to edge past Lane.

Ahmad Johnson also reached double digit points with 15 and 12, respectively.
Parker Applegate and Debuck each had three assists. Union shot 46.8 percent (22-47) from the field, 30.8 percent (4-13) from 3-point range, and 78.9 percent (15-19) from the free throw line.
Darell Johnson led Lane with 19 points. The Dragons shot 40.7 percent (24-59) from the field, 20 percent (3-15) from behind the arc, and 50 percent (8-16) from the free throw line.
