JACKSON, Tenn.—On Oct. 6th, the Union University volleyball team lost to the University of West Georgia 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-21). Union's record drops to 3-15 overall (2-4 GSC) while West Georgia improves to 9-6 overall (3-3 GSC).
Marie Torosian led Union in kills and digs with 12 in each category. She also had a .360 hitting percentage in the game.
Reese Owens had 11 kills and 7 digs of her own, while also collecting an ace.
Gracie Tacker led in assists with 16 and had an ace.
Next up for the Lady Bulldogs is a home matchup against Valdosta State University on Oct. 7
th at 1:00 p.m.
