Rylee Iorio secures her 296th career save to pass Laura Pla as the Union record holder for career saves. Union defeated the Shorter University Hawks by a score of 6-0.
Union's record improves to 8-7-1 overall (6-5 GSC). With the win over the Hawks, Union Women's Soccer is headed back to the GSC tournament for the first time since 2016.
In the victory, Union was able to tally a season-high 22 shots on goal. Union scored two goals in the first half and four goals in the second half.
Madison Woolridge (69', 79') and
Lucia Revuelto (68', 78') both scored two goals in the contest.
Hannah Patterson (20') and
Ava Duval (28') also scored in the postseason-clinching win.
Lilly Ludwig collected 2 assists,

The Lady Bulldog's next matchup will be on October 29th in Cleveland, Tennessee. Union will face #7 Lee University (#2 in GSC) in hopes of continuing their momentum into the GSC tournament.
