Nashville, Tenn. – Union University volleyball's Setter Jordan Vick has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association player of the week for the week ending September 25th. This is the first TSWA weekly award this season for volleyball.
 
Vick a 5-8 graduate student from Camden, Tenn. helped the Lady Bulldogs to a 2-0 record last week. She recorded two consecutive double-double performances. The first coming from the 3-0 sweep over Valdosta state where she posted 13 digs and 30 assists. She followed that up with 13 digs and 41 assists in a 3-1 victory over West Georgia. In both games she registered 71 assists, 26 digs and 10 kills.
 
Up next for Union is a home conference matchup verses the Choctaws of Mississippi College. The match is set to take place Saturday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m.
