Union women's golf travels to Drury University Invitational Monday and Tuesday. Union is coming off a seventh place finish in its fall opener at Montevallo last week. Kallie Robertson just miss the top-10 in the Montevallo event with an 11th place finish. 

Union is coming off an 0-2 week, playing GSC matches at Auburn Montgomery and at Montevallo. The score in both matches was 2-1. The AUM match was especially hard to take as Union held a 1-0 lead with less than four minutes left in the match. Union last four loss have all come by the same score of 2-1, including a result against the No. 9 ranked team in the nation. Union looks to get back on track this weekend with a couple of home matches versus West Florida Friday at 5 p.m. and Sunday versus Spring Hill at 1 p.m.

Madison Woolridge and Holly Trisdale lead Union with two goals each. However, the scoring is spread out early in the season with six players all having one goal each. Kaitlyn Osorio-Mendez leads with two assists and several others have one. 

Union is 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the GSC.

Union lost two matches last week, falling 3-1 at AUM and 6-0 at Montevallo. Two home matches this week might be just the thing to spark the Bulldogs. Union will host West Florida Friday 7:30 p.m. and Spring Hill Sunday at 3:30 p.m. 

Freshman Ostian Bowen leads Union with five goals. Stan De Vries had three and Alpay Altuntas has scored two goals. 

Union is 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the GSC.

Union volleyball is coming off a 3-0 week, all three wins in GSC play. Union won at West Alabama 3-1 and then knocked off Lee 3-2 and Shorter 3-2, both at home. The Lady Bulldogs hit the road again this week with a match Friday at Valdosta State Friday at 5 p.m. and at West Georgia Saturday at 2 p.m.

Sydney Sample became the latest Union player to reach a career milestone as she surpassed 1,000 career digs in the win over Shorter. She was also named the GSC Defender of the Week for the second time in her career.

Union is 10-4 overall and 3-0 in the GSC, one of three schools including West Florida (3-0) and Montevallo (2-0) to have perfect conference records.
