Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Delta State University Friday night at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex. Union dropped to 3-10 overall and 3-8 in the Gulf South Conference. Delta State improved to 7-6 on the season and 7-2 in the Gulf South Conference. 

Delta State was the very early beneficiary of a Union own-goal scored just 45 seconds into the match. That goal was the only one scored in the match. 

Union was out shot by Delta State 17-6 in the match including 7-3 in shots on goal. Union managed three shots in each half. Lilly Ludwig led Union with two shots. Bryson Lee recorded seven saves in goal for Union. 

Up next will be the final regular season home match of the season for Union, a GSC match versus Mississippi College October 24 at 1 p.m.
