Union women's basketball adds Alabama standout to 2020-21 roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University women's basketball team has added Jordan Little to the 2020-21 roster. Little is a junior college transfer from Three Rivers Community College and is a native of Muscle Shoals, Ala. She will enter Union this fall as a junior. 

Union head coach Mark Campbell said, "Jordan is a perfect fit for Union University!. She not only fits into our system and needs but she also fits into our mission. She will be a versatile guard who will make an immediate impact on the floor. We are excited to have her and her family as a part of our program."

Little transferred to Union from Three Rivers Community College where she played two years of basketball. She helped lead her team to the district and region titles in 2019, making an appearance in the JUCO national tournament. She was named all-region twice and first team all-conference twice. Little's junior college team was undefeated in region in 2018-19 and won 52 games over a two year span. She led her team with the highest 3-point percentage. Little prepped at Muscle Shoals High School where she played four years of basketball. She was a four year starter and was named team MVP three of those years. Twice, Little was selected as team captain. She was named all-area four times and earned the Hustle Award as a freshman. Little scored over 1,500 points in her high school career. She led the team in scoring and assists for two seasons. 

Off the court, Little was a member of the National Honors Society, Muscle Shoals Ambassador, and was on the honor roll. She is the daughter of Wendy and Chris Little and is majoring in sports management.
