JACKSON, Tenn. – Union University men's basketball former shooting guard, Nick Velasquez has signed a professional contract with the Rebels BKB in the city of San Salvador for the 2018-19 season.

Velasquez scored 538 points in two seasons with Union. He averaged 10.8 points per game his senior season. He had a .398 three-point percentage, scoring 74 three's on the season.

Rebels BKB is a league called Liga Superior de Baloncesto en El Salvador.
