JACKSON, Tenn. – Union University's Jada Perkins reached 1,000 career points in Union's 76-60 win against Nova Southeastern Saturday. She scored 19 points, had six steals, and six rebounds in the win.

Perkins now sits at 1,012 career points, 526 career rebounds, and 483 career assists. 

Perkins, a 5-foot-5 senior from Jackson, Tenn., scored her 1000th career point in her 99th game with Union. She is a former North Side High School Standout, and she was selected to the preseason All-GSC team.
