WHAT HAPPENED
- West Alabama jumped out to an early lead scoring in the 6th minute when Clay Greene put a bicycle kick into the back of the net.
- The Tigers doubled their lead in the 32nd minute off a goal from Oreva Amata.
- Just before the end of the half, Union's Paul Langford headed a ball to the back of the net to get Union on the board in the 44th minute.
- West Alabama regained their two goal lead in the 62nd minute with Harrison Roberts knocking a shot into the top right corner of the net to lead 3-1.
STAT OF THE GAME
- Igor Luczensky recorded seven saves in the match, tying his season season best for the second straight match.
POSTMATCH STATS
- Union was outshot 15-11 in the match, but outshot the Tigers 7-5 in the second half.
- Union is now 0-8 against West Alabama since joining Division II and the Gulf South Conference.
