JACKSON, Tenn. – The Union University men's soccer team fell to Christian Brothers on Sunday to keep the Bulldogs from reaching postseason play.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Christian Brothers got on the board first with a goal in the 41st minute from Alejandro Chinas Lopez. Lopez headed the ball into the lower right corner of the goal.
- In the 76th minute, Igor Luczensky tied the match 1-1, when he shot a penalty kick into the center of the goal.
- Christian Brothers had a late goal in the 85th minute from Bernado Ferreira to set the final 2-1.
STAT OF THE GAME
- Union's goal keeper, Luczensky, scored the Bulldogs lone goal of the match off a penalty kick which is also his first goal of the season.
POSTMATCH STATS
- Both teams were fairly even in shots with 11 from CBU and 10 from Union.
- Just two of Union's shots were on goal.
- Luxzensky had three saves in the match.
- With tonight's loss, Union is eliminated from postseason play.
