Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Alabama- The Union University (2-8, 2-2 GSC) women's soccer team lost their second straight game on Sunday 1-0 to Alabama Huntsville (5-4-2, 2-3-1 GSC).The Lady Bulldogs fell behind in the 33rd minute of the match when the Chargers' Sydnie Flocca netted a ball off the left post to score the lone goal of the match.
Despite losing the match, Union outshot Alabama Huntsville 24-7 and 7-3 in shots on goal but could not get a ball past the keeper. The Lady Bulldogs came close in the 87th minute with a shot from
Honeye Heydari that was punched over the crossbar by the opposing goalie.
Union returns home Friday to take on Mississippi College at 5 p.m. and then continues their home stretch taking on Delta State at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
