Box Score WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Union University men's basketball team posted an 89-75 win over Mid-America Nazarene (Okla.) University Friday in the consolation bracket of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament. Powered by their second highest (57.1 percent) shooting game of the season the No. 5 seed Bulldogs finished fifth, defeating No. 3 seed Mid-America Christian. Union completes the campaign with a mark of 15-16. Mid-America Christian ends with a 19-14 record. 
Union posted a 2-1 record in the NCCAA National tournament. There only loss was a 2-point 69-67 loss to eventual national champion and fourth seed Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) in the opening round. 
Union held a 43-31 lead at intermission. 
Corieon Pearson posted 23 points by the end of the first half. Pearson hit 8-of-15 shots in the first 20 minutes and knocked home 4-of-9 from long range.
Four players led the Bulldogs offense. Pearson tossed in a game high 28 points and snared a team high six rebounds. 
Pedro Faller popped in 20 points off the bench, 17 of those points came in the second half. 
Ashanti Day finished with 14 points and 
Roy Bullock scored 11 points and dished a game high seven assists.
Josh Minner scored a team high 17 points for the Evangels. Farris ended 16 points; Angelo Lewis had 13 and Reggie Davis 12 points.
