Claire Maxon

Claire Maxon joined the Union women's soccer program as the graduate assistant in January 2025. Maxon played the previous five seasons for the Union women's soccer team. 

Maxon graduated from Union in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in cell and molecular biology. She is currently working on a master's degree in business administration. 

In her five years as a player, Maxon played a key role in helping revive the Union women's soccer program and making the GSC Tournament twice, including its highest seed in GSC history as a 3-seed in 2024. That team also advanced to the NCAA D2 South Region Tournament for the first time in program history. 

Maxon was named CSC Academic All-District, GSC Honor Roll, started all 18 matches, scored a career high three goals, including two game-winners, in her fifth year. For her career, she was twice named CSC Academic All-District, five times to the GSC Honor Roll, and once to the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award. Maxon's career included six goals, eight assists, and 87 shots. 

Maxon graduated from Chester County High School and is the daughter of Derek and Heather Maxon.Â
