Erlandson prepped at Libertyville (Ill.) High School where she played four years of soccer. In addition to playing at Libertyville, she spent four seasons playing club soccer for the GLSA Premier League. Off the field, Erlandson earned the National Scholastic Photography Award and a silver medal.,
