Before Union
Etherington prepped at Little Rock Christian Academy for her senior season of high school. She played basketball and softball as a senior and played three years of home school basketball. She helped lead her team to the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Home school State Titles. Etherington was named all-state, 5A all-conference and all-metro as a senior. She was named MVP and was a Home school All-Star as a junior. Etherington added all-state as a sophomore and MVP as a freshman in basketball. She shot 54 percent from the field, 70 percent from the free throw line, while averaging 10 points and three assists per game. Academically, she graduated with honors, was a member of the honor roll and earned Most Outstanding in Spanish. She is the daughter of Mark and Vivian Etherington.
