Before Union
Katelyn Walls prepped at Trinity Christian Academy where she played soccer and ran cross country for four seasons. She also ran track as a freshman. Walls helped lead her soccer team to region titles in 2009 and 2011, while earning a region runner up finish in 2010. She was named team captain as a senior and all-district tournament team as a freshman. Walls helped her cross country team to a state runner-up finish in 2009 and a third place state finish in 2010. She was named Most Valuable Runner as a freshman and finished 16^th place in the state meet as a sophomore. Off the field, Walls was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, senior class vice president, Salutatorian and 30-plus ACT Club. She earned Principal’s List, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, ACSI Award for Leadership and was on the Academic Honor Roll. Walls is the daughter of Bart and Melissa Walls.
