Before Union
Calhoun transferred to Union from Berea College where she played one year of basketball and volleyball. She was named a USCAA All-American honorable mention and helped lead her team to a 2015 USCAA National Runner-Up finish. In her freshman season at Berea, she averaged 11 points and nine rebounds per game. Calhoun prepped at Marion County High School where she played seven seasons of basketball, two years of volleyball and on year of track and field. She helped her basketball team to four district titles, three region titles, one KHSAA State Title and one state runner-up. Her 2013 KHSAA State Title team was the first Kentucky team to go undefeated (39-0) since 1984. Her volleyball team won two district titles. In basketball, Calhoun earned numerous honors including Marion County Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, district MVP, all-region, all-region tournament twice, all-district tournament twice, all-district, leading scorer, leading blocker twice, leading rebounder twice, Best Defensive Award, best FG% twice. Calhoun also reached the 1,000 career point club and played in the Kentucky/Indiana Junior All-Star Game. In volleyball, she was a KVCA first team All-State, all-district tournament, all-region tournament and led the team in blocks.

Born October 14...daughter of Autria Calhoun and David Hazelwood...majoring in education as she works to become a kindergarten teacher.
