Before Union
Rice prepped at Tipton-Rosemark Academy where she played five years of softball. During her time there she helped lead her team to four district championships, three region championships, and two state runner up titles. Her accolades include: two time West TN Miss Softball, TSCA All-Star game selection 2021, West TN all-star game selection 2021, three time region MVP, two-time Millington star Pitcher of the Year, Daily Memphian player of the year, TN Sports Writers Association all-state selection, and two-time district MVP. During her high school career she posted a .352 BA, 1.55 ERA, and had 751 K's. Off the field she was a member of NHS.
