Union University Athletics

Justin Hogan was hired as the assistant baseball coach at Union University for the 2011-12 season. He is now in his third season as assistant baseball coach at Union (Tenn.) University. Hogan joined Union after spending three seasons as a volunteer assistant coach at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville.

Hogan played college baseball at Southern Polytechnic (Ga.) State University where he helped his team to the conference tournament title in 2004. He began his baseball playing career at Hiwassee (Tenn.) Community College.

Hogan, a native of Pike County, Ga., finished his undergraduate degree in business administration from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2006. He added a masters degree in sports management in 2010 from the United State Sports Academy.

Hogan and his wife Anna reside in Jackson where she works as a nurse.
