JACKSON, Tenn.- The Gulf South Conference and the Tennessee Sport Writer Association named
Terrence Ringo Jr. Player of the Week following competition from February 16-22. This is his fourth time being given honor in his single season with the Bulldogs.
Ringo Jr. averaged 24 points and 13.5 rebounds for two double-doubles to help Union go 1-1 on the week. The senior forward had an impressive performance, shooting 73 percent (11-for-15) from the field with 31 points and 16 rebounds in a big 85-69 win at West Florida. He also had 17 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and six blocks.
Ringo continues to anchor Union on both ends of the floor, emerging as one of the most dominant and consistent forces in the Gulf South Conference this season.
The Bulldogs return home this week for their last pair of home games before post season begins. This includes senior night on February 27
th which will honor Ringo and the rest of the senior class.
