JACKSON, Tenn.- The Tennessee Sports Writer Association and the Gulf South Conference have announced Terrence Ringo Jr. as Player of the Week. This award encompasses action from January 5 through 11. This is Ringo's second GSC weekly award and his third TSWA weekly award.

These awards follow Ringo's outstanding performances from the weekend. The senior out of Evansville, Ind. earned back to back double-doubles against Valdosta State and West Florida.

He averaged 23.5 points, 15 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 blocks in the Bulldogs two conference games. Ringo shot 69 percent from the field.
The transfer has been a welcomed addition to the Bulldog squad, providing a dominant presence on both ends of the floor.
