BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The GSC has announced Trace Robinson as Golfer of the Week for Week one. This award considered performance from September 4 to 7.

Union University Men's Golf found success last weekend, taking home the Full Moon BBQ Title as a team, and Robinson earning Medalist and a spot on the All-Tournament team.

The Jackson native had a score of 8-under on the par-71 course. He was the only player in the field to shoot all three rounds at or under par. Robinson shot a 65 in round one, 69 in round two, and finished with a final round 71. He won the event by four strokes and posted 14 birdies in the event. 

Robinson led the Bulldogs with consistent play across all three rounds, setting the tone for a dominant team performance and securing Union's first tournament win of the season.

Union will head to Delta State for the Sam Dunning Invitational at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point Miss.
