TUNICA RESORTS, Miss. - The Union University men's golf team posted a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Gulf South Conference Championship. The 3-round event was played at the Tunica National Golf and Tennis Club, featuring nine teams and 45 golfers.
West Florida won the event, leading the entire way. The Argos was by 30 strokes, finishing as the only team below par at -6. Lee finished second at +24, while Delta State finished third at +36.
Union finished +58, going +13 in round one, +20 in round two, and +25 in round three.
Senior
Gray Campbell led Union in 18th place at +12. Campbell was +3 in the first round, +2 in the second round, and +7 in the final round.
Trace Robinson finished 21st (+13),
Timothy Pinkston 22nd (+14),
Andrew Westmoreland 29th (+19), and
Kip Patterson 41st (+37).
West Florida had the top four individuals, led by the medalist Fabian Wennerlof at -4. Cooper Tendick (-1) and Eddie Lee (-1), along with teammate Wennerlof, were the only three players to finish under par for the event.
