BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Gulf South Conference named their weekly honors for week three this Tuesday. Abigail Bryan was named Freshman of the Week for the second time in two weeks.

The award encompasses performances from November 17-23.

Bryan averaged 14.5 points, three rebounds and 2.5 steals as the Lady Bulldogs picked up wins against Miles and Williams Baptist. The rookie registered nine points and two assists, while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, in a 95-77 win over Miles. Her most notable appearance of the week was a 20-point, four-rebound and four-steal showing in a 100-65 win over Williams Baptist.

Bryan's performance proves her as a freshman to watch going into the conference play.
